Before you begin, if you have a lot of characters it is highly recommended you use a password manager like https://proton.me/pass which you can store 2 factor authentication codes in and then setting up 2 factor authentication for all your accounts. This saves you from having to use email verification for each and every account which is tedious for those with many different characters.
SeAT: A Simple, EVE Online API Tool and Corporation Manager
SeAT is a commonly used authentication platform used to validate membership to corporations & alliances and minimize the risk of spies by doing background checks. When you have 100s or even 1,000s of members you need a tool to automatically set roles based on affiliation. EVE is unique in having a highly developed 3rd party IT community.
Discord is the most common way to communicate across gaming communities and is the most common way corporations & alliances communicate in EVE Online.

The best method to move is to simply buy a shuttle and fly down, absolutely do not try to pack all your belongings in a hauler and fly half the galaxy over yourself if you don't know the dangers of hauling. There is a high risk of getting ganked which is when players suicide kill your ship because the contents of it are worth more than their loss.
Consider selling your belongings to a service such as Highsec Buyback or using a moving service like Red Frog or PushX if you are unfamiliar with the dangers of hauling.
After you move set your home to our staging Torrinos - Garden of Thorns 2.0 and then buy anything you need off the largest trade hub in EVE Jita IV - Moon 4 - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant which is only a short distance away.
Torrinos is right next door to our coalition's nullsec space in Pure Blind, do note that while we are associated we do not have blue status with each other due Embellishment not having entry requirements which increases the risk of spies. Be very careful if you enter nullsec and if someone isn't blue in EVE always assume they are hostile.
